StoneExpo Marmomacc Americas opened its doors on 24 January 2012. he appointment - at least during the day - is not in one of the many casinos in the Nevada city but at StoneExpo Marmomacc Americas, the only event in the United States specialising in the natural stone, technologies and processing machinery sector.
Marmomacc and StoneExpo agreed on a partnership in 2005 that precisely last September was renewed for a further five years with an extension option through to 2025. Once again this year, moreover, StonExpo Marmomacc Americas is held on the same dates and in the same place as Surfaces, the main North American exhibition for cladding materials in the building industry. This synergy helps boost the number of visitors, particularly architects and designers, by offering them a complete range of products and technologies. The training activities set up many years ago precisely by Marmomacc for US architects and officially recognised by the AIA, the American sector association, have also been confirmed. More than 700 exhibitors will be present this year in Las Vegas for the two events, including a good number of Italian companies. StoneExpo Marmomacc Americas is also home to 75 seminars and workshops, many of which have been organised specifically for natural stone trade operators.
